THE IVY journey starts with a warm welcome, a gesture of a refreshing towel upon arrival, and then accompanied to the welcome lounge where our guests can relax and experience a homely check in whilst enjoying a complimentary beverage during the process. Your personal Butler will then show you to your suite where they will then guide you through the rooming process. During this process they explain all of the amazing features in your suite and familiarize you with all of the hotel’s facilities and offerings. At THE IVY pets are considered part of the family. The hotel is designated as pet friendly, and we welcome our furry friends as your travel companions. A welcome package will be presented upon arrival featuring special pet amenities including pet bedding, treats and a walking map. Our concierge team is able to arrange pet sitting services, if required, at an additional cost. Service animals are always welcome and exempt of charges.

Our bespoke uniforms were created by Gert–Johan Coetzee, a celebrity designer who has created some of SA’s most memorable dresses and has become an influential public figure himself, gracing magazine covers and featuring on TV as the mentor on Project Runway South Africa. Gert has dressed the stars including talk show host Oprah Winfrey who wore GJC at the Global Citizen Festival, Former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela and Miss Universe 2018 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters
